About the Role
- Responsible for operation of cloud platform, including managing and maintaining cloud services, adjusting, and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and adjusting Azure DevOps pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure changes
- Responsible for operation of on-premises infrastructure, OS and middleware, including Oracle database, virtual machines, storage, networking, and security to support daily business requirements
- Responsible for disaster recovery design and maintenance, make sure application and data are well managed and transferred align with group and regulatory requirements, take suitable action for DR rehearsal and keep audit trace
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to identify requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs, using cloud-based technologies
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
- Act as local contact and work with group team to follow up issue/problem and respond compliance and regulatory request for this area

We are seeking a highly motivated and educated technical talent with a real passion for insurance technology to join our team as Cloud Engineer. You will be mainly responsible for the operation of technologies used in on-prem, private and public cloud, including networks, firewall, internet proxy, WAN backbone as well as OS, middleware, and database, etc. Meanwhile, you will also be responsible for understanding and interpreting technology and business requirements to offer platform solution design and project delivery. This includes participation in discovery, documentation, validation, and refinement of solutions while considering opportunities for re-use of standard solutions and technologies.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in network security, computer science, information technology, or related technical field
- 3 -5 years of experience in infrastructure operation
- Hands-on administration and troubleshooting experience with virtual server infrastructure
- Knowledge in Oracle database operation
- Server resource capacity management and system tuning
- Knowledge of VMware HA, server/storage
- Experience troubleshooting Server-side SAN and network configurations
- Experience in leading tech firm or insurance industry preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese Mandarin and English
- Be able to speak confidently and work well in an international environment
