We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Monitoring Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on Splunk/Grafana/Monitos to join our dynamic team. We are growing in our location in Prague and be part of our Viessmann family.
At this stage, we offer employment under the Viessmann work contract only. Freelance type of co-operation (IČO in Czech) is not supported at the moment.
Your impact
- Design and installation of complex and scaling architectures
- Supporting our customers in digital transformation, IT security and in analysing and understanding their data
- Development of dashboards, reports, visualisations or apps according to the requirements of our customers and colleagues
- Technical management of Splunk, Grafana and Monitos in close cooperation with the departments and IT teams and development of use cases based on Splunk, Grafana and Monitos
- Continuous monitoring, optimisation of the monitoring environments and support in the onboarding of new IT systems to the monitoring system
- Operation of the monitoring infrastructure onPrem and in the cloud (MS Azure)
Who you are
You enjoy working in a cross-functional team, are a solution-oriented person and can deal with new complex issues and technologies. To ensure that you are also successful in your job, we are also looking for:
- Completed training as an IT specialist, studies related to IT or a comparable qualification
- More than 3 years of experience in monitoring with a focus on Splunk, Grafana and Monitos, ideally with a corresponding certification
- Technical knowledge in the field of software development, maintenance and application support, continuous integration & deployment tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker)
- Advanced knowledge of the cloud context (preferably Microsoft Azure and GCP) and Linux/Windows administration
- Experience in programming languages (preferably Perl, Bash, PowerShell, C# and Python), Jira, Confluence and/or Freshservice
- Good knowledge of IT security (e.g. SSL/TLS, API security, OAuth 2, SAML)
- Proficient English, German is nice-to-have
