Event Manager
Experienced freelance Event Manager required for Fashion Show program on September 30th. The candidate will have several years of managerial experience leading a team of event assistants and stylists, preferably in Fashion Shows, though precedence will go to candidates with superb client-facing, and or luxury brands experience.
- Communicate effectively with a positive and encouraging managerial style
- Motivate teams to perform with super-star service and attention to detail
- Use digital devices (walkie talkie) to maintain teams across the whole property
- Delegate tasks to 5 direct-reports (press pit, backstage, media lounge, creator studio, workshop zone)
- First-point of contact for stakeholders, venue partners, third-party contractors
- Introduce CEO to stakeholders, members of the press
- Provide feedback to show runner (your assistant) to ensure accuracy for time calls, and trouble shoot for any time delays or discrepancies
- Troubleshooting ad hoc
You will ensure that KPIs are met,
- Event data: attendee engagement, influencer engagement, live-streaming booths and showrooms are active, ensure that music is consistently engaging and that guests and stakeholders are pleased, and equally WOW'd
- Media lounge: to be consistently active with influencer, designer and sponsor interviews. Ensure that all attendees arrive and are photographed at Media Wall (step and repeat)
- Venue and catering: oversee the flow of catering and refreshments by liaising with Venue Manager
