What You Will Do:
We are looking for a lead screenwriter to lead the script-writing process for our global original content initiative.
- Work closely with producers and directors to set the creative direction for each screenplay, hire in-house staff/freelance writers and manage the writer's room throughout the script-writing process.
- Be able to adapt style of writing to fit a variety of formats, including articles, white papers, case studies and press releases.
- Review the work done by our development/production partners and provides feedback/notes in a timely manner.
- In charge of managing script budget/schedule and developing/managing relationships with the screenwriter community.
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years of professional experience as screenwriter
- Familiarity with HoYoverse's IPs (Adventure Rank of 55 and above in Genshin Impact are strongly preferred)
- Deep knowledge of global entertainment landscape and audience preference
- Business proficiency in English is highly preferred
- Exceptional ability in short-form writing and editing
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Independent, self-motivated and curious
- Comfort with kind but candid feedback
- Fixed term or contractor is optional
