ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator with outstanding organizational and campaign execution skills. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Coordinator will be the second hire at Midori and poised to grow with the company. While they won’t be an expert in the Voluntary Carbon market (few people are at this stage!), the Marketing Coordinator will use their creativity, fantastic communication skills, and excellent time management to learn about the market and execute on a marketing strategy that effectively spreads information about both carbon trading and Midori.

To ensure success, the Marketing Coordinator will be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to our ideal audience. Top candidates will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of accountability.

MARKETING COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development of strategic marketing initiatives and activities
  • Implement marketing plans that include paid search, paid influencer campaigns, social media, short form video, and podcasting
  • Create branded advertising campaigns, and support the company’s efforts by coordinating and collating content
  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities
  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
  • Support the company’s overall brand with relevant marketing campaigns and content
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
  • Manage marketing budget for all activities
  • Manage relationships with relevant social media platforms, influencers, and online communities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management

MARKETING COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in content management, campaign management, or working with social media and influencers
  • Education or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
  • Design experience is a plus
  • Experience working in the Carbon Offset markets, and in particular the Voluntary Carbon Market, is also a plus

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
