As a Senior SW Engineer you will bring domain expertise to contribute to following areas of activity of Software based projects:

Support sales teams with technical scope definition and clarification- Produce and/or validate engineering documentation
- Coordinate SW site deployment and testing (including onsite works when needed)
- Resolve escalated technical support requests related to area of expertise.
- Software solutions offering includes EPMS, SCADA and Energy Management System solutions implemented in range of different electrical infrastructures (i.e. Data centers, Industries and commercial buildings).
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Desing technical scope of budgetary and binding proposals including initial system architecture design, system topology drawing, hardware BOM, proposed project schedule and detailed solution description (EPMS/DCIM/PSA projects in EMEA)
- Interact with different EATON technical teams and third parties to produce and/or review engineering deliverables being part of project scope.
- Work in close collaboration with Sales and Project Management teams to manage scope variations, highlight technical risks and propose risk mitigations actions.
- Define SW deployment work method statement and validation criteria to be executed onsite by local team, 3rd party or by the SW engineer him/herself (when required).
- Take ownership of L3 Software technical support requests escalated from central technical support team
- Flexibility for travelling as required for site-visits, customer meetings (face to face and online) and other project execution needs.
- Perform internal and external technical presentations to support solutions promotion and training initiatives
- Contribute to engineering deliverables, processes and tools standardization within System Integration Services team
- Be actively involved in personal professional growth and development including all required annual safety training and training course from Eaton university and 3rd parties.
Qualifications:
What we are looking for:
- Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Power management/Electrical engineering/Automation subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years engineering experience with power management systems specifically within Data Center environment
- Familiar with power distribution system including MV/LV switchgear, Transformer, UPS and EPMS/DCIM system.
- Software and hardware knowledge of PLC, HMI, Network Infrastructure, IED programming and logic control concept is a plus.
- Experience with Power system automation software, Energy power management system, Data Center Infrastructure management.
