The Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a high potential Mid-level Software Engineer to join our software engineering team.
Work Information:
Work Location : Asem Tower (Samsung-dong)
Work Type : Hybrid (Work from home & office)
Primary Responsibilities:
All software engineering activities to design software architecture, develops codes, document, manage requirements, verify codes for aviation electronics of Boeing various programs.
Works with enterprise and International R&D centers in United States and other countries.
Utilizes modern object-oriented computer programming techniques and agile programming methodologies to develop software in delivered Boeing systems
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience with the software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, code, integration & test)
Applicants must have demonstrated technical leadership of or within software development teams solving challenging problems.
Expert in software coding more than 1+ software languages (e.g. C, C++, Python, Java and so on)
Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
Proper English communication skill in verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
Involvement with products developed using Agile software development practices
Requirements management in tools such as DOORS is a strong plus.
Knowledge of AS9115 and DO-178 requirements
Experience in Automotive, Aerospace and/or other similar industries is a strong plus.
Experience in Open Source project and/or RTOS
Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+3 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

This is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
