The role:
  • Analyze business and user requirements in the Microsoft 365 infrastructure
  • Translate business requirements into functional architecture
  • Design and deliver IT solutions (with varying complexity) for SoftwareONE customers
  • Create detailed design and architecture documentation
  • Provide expert guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy
  • Support project management team and other consultants in the planning, management, and delivery of customer engagements
  • Support sales teams with effort estimation, proposal creation and/or review, and other pre-sales activities
  • Maintain and acquire advanced level technical certification(s) in assigned area
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Coordinate and hand over repeatable processes to remote service teams
What we need to see from you:
  • Experience in designing, planning, and deploying workloads within the Microsoft 365 platform: This involves understanding the various services and capabilities offered by Microsoft 365 and being able to design and deploy solutions that meet the organization's requirements.
  • Experience in migration to Office 365: This includes knowledge and expertise in migrating data and applications from on-premises environments to Office 365. Familiarity with migration tools and best practices is essential.
  • Expertise knowledge of Microsoft 365 services:
  • Understanding Azure Active Directory and its integration with other Microsoft 365 services, as well as knowledge of Security features and best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing and configuring Exchange Online, including email management, distribution groups, and mailbox migrations.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, including site configuration, document management, and collaboration features.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, including chat, meetings, channels, and third-party app integrations.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Intune for device management and Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues with Microsoft 365 workloads: You should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Experience with delivering on-premises and cloud solutions: Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, understanding their differences, and being able to design and implement hybrid environments if required.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills: Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively collaborating with teams, documenting solutions, and presenting information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver training and webinars for end users: Experience in creating training materials, conducting user training sessions, and delivering webinars to educate end users on Microsoft 365 services and features.
  • Experience with Power Platform would be an advantage: Knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Ability to develop and customize solutions using these tools.
  • Knowledge about other Cloud Services would be an advantage: Familiarity with other cloud services, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform, would be beneficial as it provides a broader understanding of cloud technologies and enables you to offer comprehensive solutions.
