- Essential Functions: Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer and identifying customer needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving customer issues and concerns; and promoting products and services, while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Fulfills customers orders by reviewing orders; locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise; ensuring the accuracy of orders prior to pickup; making appropriate product substitutions and consulting with customer as needed to ensure satisfaction and following up on out of stock merchandise.
- Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources.
- Physical Activities: enters and locates information on a computer, moves up and down a ladder, moves up and down stairs, communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment, creates documents/repots/ using a writing instrument or computer, grasps/turns/manipulates objects of varying size and weight, visually verifies information often in small print, visually locates merchandise and other objects, reaches overhead and below the knees, moves/lifts/carries/ places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet , damp, or drafty conditions.
- Works varying shifts as required.
