Bookkeeper - Part Time [Pakistan]


 

Job description

The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working for a design business in a similar role.

This position is in our Manchester office.

Responsibilities for Bookkeeper

  • Recording financial transactions
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Paying regular bills for the company
  • Maintaining company ledgers
  • Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments
  • Appropriately coding payables to prepare them for the accountant's input later
  • Distributing money appropriately to various departments within the company
  • Invoicing deliveries and paying vendors for their goods and services
  • Maintaining office supplies by keeping an inventory and ordering new supplies as needed
  • Preparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materials
  • Handling subsidiary accounts
  • Filing historical records and retrieving necessary documents as needed for others
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Preparing information for auditors
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
  • General administration tasks

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS

You are passionate with a strong team spirit who is highly organised, good at multi-tasking, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines, with mathematical skills and the best attention to detail. As an experienced bookkeeper you have a good knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero and Microsoft Office. You are hard-working, determined, focused, driven, keen to succeed and excited to overcome challenges. We’re open to applications for those with experience in the following areas:

  • Robust knowledge of double entry bookeeping & UK VAT returns.
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced skills in Quickbooks, Xero and Microsoft Office
  • Great access to technologies and new tools
  • Qualification: Part qualified ACCA/CIMA, AAT qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: Rs45,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
